MUSIC FOR SINNERS

In our little we decided to do this work to remember the 21 young victmins of the 21/07/2010, during the "Love Parade" in Duisburg. 21 persons killed by the crowd, the disorganization, the foolishness of the police, the lust of making easy money,in this continous hypermarket called life. But above all we want to remark what the auxiliary bishop of Salisburg Andreas Laun said: "The Love Parade and the partecipation in it, regardless of its repugnant image, it's a sort of rebellion against the Creation and the God's order, they are a sin and an invitation of the sin (...) People refuse to admit the Love Parade might be linked with the sin and, consequently, also with God who judges and castises." If herr Laun is right, in this case God is fascist, homophobic and pedophile, because these categories are rarely punished by his wrath. People like herr Laun were in South America to converte the natives, they were in concentration camps to consecrate the S.S. , they were in Triora to burn the witches, they were on the stage to shake hands with Pinochet. We dance over it. With hammering basses and keeping the memory alive of those 21 people who could be us, who are dancing.

We, the sinners.

Nel nostro piccolo abbiamo deciso di fare questo lavoro per ricordare le 21 giovani vittime del 21\07\2010, durante la Love Parade a Duisburg. Ventuno persone uccise dalla calca, dalla disorganizzazione, dall'ottusità della polizia, dalla voglia di fare soldi facili, da questo continuo ipermercato che si chiama vita. Ma soprattutto vogliamo ricordare le parole del vescovo ausiliario di Salisburgo Andreas Laun: “La Love Parade e la partecipazione ad essa, a prescindere dalla sua immagine ripugnante, costituiscono una sorta di ribellione contro la Creazione e contro l'ordine divino, sono un peccato e un invito al peccato. (…) ci si rifiuta di ammettere che la Love Parade potrebbe anche avere a che fare con il peccato e, di conseguenza, anche con un Dio che giudica e punisce”. Se herr Laun ha ragione, allora Dio è fascista, omofobo e pedofilo, perchè queste categorie raramente vengono punite dalla sua ira. Gente come herr Laun era in America del Sud a convertire gli indigeni, era nei campi di concentramento a benedire le SS, era a Triora a bruciare le streghe, era sul palco a stringere la mano a Pinochet. Noi ci balliamo sopra. Con bassi martellanti e nel ricordo di quelle 21 persone che potevamo essere noi, che balliamo.
